Fuel Operator

We are looking for a reliable, vigilant, and customer-oriented Fuel Operator (Petrol Pump Attendant) to join our service team in Narsapuram, a historic port town on the banks of the Godavari and a key hub for the Godavari Delta’s thriving aquaculture and lace industries. As a vital link in the local economy, our station serves a diverse range of vehicles—from aquaculture transport trucks and mechanized fishing boats to the tourist vehicles exploring the scenic delta region.

Key Responsibilities

• Fuel Dispensing: Accurately operate dispensers for Petrol and Diesel, ensuring precise delivery to local commuters, tractors, and the heavy-duty vehicles that support the region’s prominent shrimp and fish farming sectors.
• Transaction Management: Efficiently handle cash and digital payments (UPI/POS), ensuring accurate daily records and providing prompt receipts to all customers.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly enforce fire safety protocols, including “No Smoking” and “Engine Off” rules. Given Narsapuram’s proximity to the river and agricultural zones, maintaining a spill-free and eco-friendly environment is essential.
• Vehicle Care Services: Perform basic maintenance checks such as tire air pressure (Air/Nitrogen), windshield cleaning, and engine oil inspections for travelers and local transporters.
• Stock Monitoring: Assist in the safe offloading of fuel tankers and help monitor underground tank levels to ensure the station remains fully operational during high-demand harvest seasons.
• Customer Interaction: Greet every customer with a welcoming and polite attitude, communicating effectively in Telugu to assist local residents and traders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum 8th or 10th pass; basic literacy is required to operate the digital meter systems and handle billing.
• Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in Telugu is essential for local community engagement; basic knowledge of Hindi or English is a plus for interacting with interstate transport drivers.
• Numerical Ability: Strong basic math skills for quick calculations and ensuring accurate change for cash transactions.
• Traits: High level of integrity, physical stamina for outdoor shifts, and a helpful, patient demeanor.

Experience

• 0–2 years preferred; prior experience in a petrol pump, agricultural service center, or retail role is an advantage.
• Freshers from the West Godavari region who are hardworking and willing to learn safety and operations are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with digital payment apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, etc.) is highly valued.
