Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team in Narsapuram. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and strict kitchen safety standards. The role focuses on preparing high-quality meals, with an emphasis on Coastal Andhra and Godavari Delta cuisine, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The candidate should be creative, highly organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes as per the menu and quality standards, with expertise in preparing local specialties, particularly coastal seafood and traditional Andhra vegetarian cuisine.
  • Ensure food is properly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and presented neatly and attractively.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols within the kitchen area, adhering to FSSAI standards.
  • Assist in planning menus, developing new recipes, and incorporating local seasonal ingredients.
  • Monitor kitchen stock levels, manage inventory rotation, and assist in ordering fresh produce and supplies.
  • Coordinate effectively with all kitchen staff and manage time efficiently to meet service demands.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Any Degree / Diploma in Culinary Arts or a relevant field (optional but highly preferred).
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and local regional cuisine.
  • Judgment: Excellent taste judgment and a keen eye for food presentation and plating.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, manage the kitchen flow, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attributes: Discipline, cleanliness, teamwork attitude, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience as a Chef or Cook, particularly in a restaurant focusing on South Indian or Coastal Andhra cuisine.
